The archives held by the Llantwit Major Local History Society contain some original documents, such as diaries, autobiographical accounts and deeds, as well as photocopied documents from other repositories, transcripts and research notes. These are kept in box files and catalogued in alphabetical order as below.
The large photographic collection covers events, personalities, views and buildings. Again these are stored in box files and catalogued according to personality, event, area or building.
All our material is available for research – the Archive Room in the Old School being open every Friday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm or by appointment with the Archivist.
